Groups

The group project assignment is very different.
It is strange not being able to work with Ashley and Shasta.
Anyways, my group's poster is on healthy eating.
This week I learned that while listening to music food intakes are increased.

Photoshop skills.

This week I have been working on Photo shop for my photo assignment.
What I have learned was the basics. I think the only skill I did not do was Liquefy.

Flash

I haven't learned any flash skills this week except for the time show this week.
I really don't want to use the time show thingy.
I think my flash is crappy. I give my flash a 1 out of 10.
Because I don't know how to to work flash at all. Its too confusing for me.

9 weeks.

This nine weeks I learned how to learn work photo shop, flash, Illustrator, and other programs.
Between flash, illustrator, and photoshop, I prefer to use photo shop.
Photo shop is fun in a way. But I would like to learn more on Illustrator.

Illustrator

People who would use illustrator would be publishers  or graphic designers.

Illustrator images are much more clearer than photoshop images.

Illustrator  is harder to use than photoshop, in my opinion.

It works the same as photoshop but it has different tools.  Using illustrator is ok, I guess.

I like doing the cards and redoing the google logo.  I liked it because I became more familiar with the program.

I have learned more photoshop skills this week.

I learned how to put my face on someone else's body.  It was amusing.

The steps to it wasn't very hard.

To put a face on someone else's body, you have to trace around the face lasso tool.

Then I'd drag the face to the body and just use the blur tool to make it look real.

I learned how to trace faces.  Tracing faces is quite too easy to do. 

I took a brush tool and just traced along a face then hide the background.

                                         Additional Flash Skills.

I learned more about flash this week than ever.  At first I didn't really understand flash until another student showed me how to work it.  Flash is still confusing to me but I understand it better now.

YouTube Question.

My Youtube question was "Why don't some schools have metal detectors to prevent school shootings?"

I chose this question because school violence is happening everywhere and some schools don't get warnings from them.  Schools should have protection.

Flash.

Shape tweening is used when people want to make shapes turn into other shapes.

It is quite interesting to see.

Motion tweening used when someone wants their shapes to move.

Key frames are frames that capture the images.

Those things are important because they make the flash become an animation.

Using Flash is fun and amusing.

It is fun but it is also challenging to work.  There are so many buttons and their functions to remember.

My PSA.

This week I learned that gang violence is horrible to get into.
Kids join gangs just to make life better for them. They also join gangs because they probably dont have a family so they join to get a family.

Also this week I lerned how to work Garage Band and Imovie.
The programs were alittle hard to learn.

Learning styles.

Learning Styles.

My learning styles are Logic/math, Language, and Self.
Logical math was a little shocking but i read why I got it and it makes since.
I like to put stuff in order and I like to critical thinking all the time. Also I enjoy doing puzzles that are challenging.

Language was not a shocker.
I like telling my friends stories and hearing what they have to say. I love books. I read them everyday. I also love medical terminology.

Self. Well I dont know anything about self.
I tend to like people who will tell me my errors and mistakes.

Internet use.

                             Inappropriate and Appropriate.

What I think is appropriate is when kids use the internet for studying and educational use.

Playing games on the internet is ok if the students are not playing the inappropriate ones.

What I think is inappropriate is when kids use the internet for messing with people and doing stuff they shouldn't be doing.

Photoshop.

This week I learned a lot about photoshop.

I learned how to crop my photo, make backgrounds, different types of fonts, and how to use the cloning stamp plus the blur tool.

Wiki and blogs.

The wiki and blogs are very good for students and helping them keep track of their stuff.

Photo.

I do indeed have a digital camera.

I like to take pictures of my family.

My favorite photo that I have taken is the photo with my brother and my twin cousins.  

The photo is my favorite because you can clearly see evilness in the kids.

Photos are important to the web because it helps the viewer know what the publisher is talking about.
